For those of you who I am friends with on social media, you’ve probably seen a recent exchange on my page with regards to the new study about Autism being proven to be 80% hereditary. For those of you who follow this blog, you’ll be simultaneously happy (because it […]
One year ago today I ate a Sam’s Club hot dog and jalapeno cheddar pretzel, I waddled around the store drinking a gigantic ice-cold root beer and shortly after that the contractions began.
One year ago tomorrow, […]
“I’m trying” has been my automatic response to receiving any sort of praise whatsoever for as long as I can remember.
If I did well on a project at work: “I’m trying”
If a friend or relative complimented something I was wearing: “I’m trying”
If someone congratulated me on my weight loss, our engagement or subsequent marriage, my pregnancy, or just holding our house together all day, every day: “I’m trying”
It’s recently come to my attention that this is not healthy. […]
Today is July 6th. The date I’ve been anticipating since there was a faint second line on a stick back on October 26, 2017. Today is the day that doctors and scientists say you’re due to arrive. This is a tough time for a lot of women, because the chance of pregnancy loss or miscarriage is very high throughout this period of time, so it can be extremely anxiety provoking.
The second trimester is Weeks 13 through 27. This is when most women catch the […]
The following is a list of thoughts I have had while in the process of giving my dog a bath:
Ok, let’s do this. Fast and easy.
Please hold still
Let’s wet you down
God, I’m so glad M installed the hand-held shower head. This has removed a lot of the trauma associated with bath time!
Perhaps if you didn’t squirm so much, this would go a lot faster […]
